About Kingdom

Play

So many thriving children's ministries, get a little stuck in knowing how to intentionally teach the infants in their communities about God. I know, because I was there! The stimulating, safe environments we create and the loving caregivers we train are foundational in our ministries, and yet, we can do even more.

We can share God and simple Bible truths with infants in a way they can understand...through meaningful play, movement, hands-on activities and sign. It's wild, and honestly sometimes a little chaotic!  But truly, there is such joy and delight in creating a space for infants and their parents to experience God and His love through play...and Kingdom PLAY can help!

Kingdom PLAY is a curriculum infused with the many ideas and strategies I have learned over the years in the different roles and experiences I have been blessed with: a mom of three, children and youth ministries director, speech-language pathologist and instructor of baby sign classes. We have been using it "in-house" for over 15 years now and have experienced such joy and blessing that we want to share it with you.

Heart

    The Heart of Kingdom Play

P

Play is essential.

Play is an important part in the lives and development of our little ones. Kingdom Play is strategically designed to allow little ones to know and love God through hands-on, interactive and dynamic play!

L

Littlest ones matter.

God created all of his children to know and love him, even the littles ones of them all. Kingdom Play supports teachers and parents to begin sharing God, His love and His story with them from the moment they are born.

A

ASL/sign supports learning.

American sign language (ASL)/signs are shown to support language in hearing kids and can bridge the communication gap until they can speak. Kingdom Play uses a combination of ASL and gestures to support learning.

Y

Yahweh be praised.

Kingdom Play creates opportunities for the littlest ones to know, love and praise the Lord. What a joy it is to see our little ones worship Him in a way that is meaningful and fun for them.

Used Kingdom Play as a Children's Ministry Director and Preschool Teacher; Mother, 3rd Grade Teacher

"Kingdom PLAY uniquely engages a child's three listening centers - the heart, mind, and body. Beginning at the beginning, birth, each little life that enters the nursery or preschool doors at your church will be given the opportunity to engage in the gospel story not just by hearing it, but by finding their place in it. Kingdom PLAY is designed to be super accessible to volunteers. Teachers can show up equipped and confident that their hour or two serving in the nursery and preschool classes will be meaningful and kingdom-building. Kingdom PLAY is so much more than a typical curriculum for early childhood. It's a method of discipleship that empowers and strengthens all - from the baby sitting on ones knee to the teenager or new dad or grandma teaching the lesson. It was a game changer in our church, and I know it will be in many more."
